the Caritas contact point for people with disabilities in the district of Dachau. We act as a contact and counselling centre with an affiliated outpatient support service for people with mental, physical and emotional disabilities, chronically ill people and their relatives. In addition to advice on all life issues, the contact point offers school and individual support, the family support service and outpatient assisted living. In the outpatient assistance service, we employ a professional, creative and successful team of specialists and assistants. Our primary goals of working with people with disabilities are to shape a self-determined life, to enable a life in the community and to promote social contacts. Other objectives are to promote the skills of the people being cared for through educational offers and to create a framework for needs-oriented leisure activities with their peers. Furthermore, we plan regular integrative group evenings in the leisure sector, holiday trips for people with and without disabilities, holiday care and educational courses.  All offers and services promote the inclusion process in the Dachau district.
