Junior Accountant

You will start with tasks in customer and supplier accounting and help support the daily operation of the financial department. This includes processing and following up invoices, sending payment reminders and supporting reports to project managers and management. As you grow in the job, you will have more responsibilities, such as following up on general accounting, tax returns and preparing audit files. In this way, you will develop yourself into a fully-fledged accountant and you can count on the support of an experienced accounting manager and a warm team. A selection of your tasks Follow up on supplier reminders and check purchase invoices. Booking invoices and following up on approval flows. Drafting and sending payment reminders to customers. Supporting reporting for project managers and management. Processing of outgoing invoices. Gradually get into general accounting, including reconciliations and closing entries. Preparation and submission of VAT returns and tax obligations. Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and audit files. What we expect from you A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy, Commercial Sciences or Applied Economics. Good knowledge of Dutch, with a basic level of French; knowledge of English is a plus. Smooth mastery of Excel and other Office applications. You work in a structured way, are analytically strong and reliable. No experience? No problem: your motivation and eagerness to learn are at least as important.
