Project Manager Metalworking

Are you ready to lead projects from A to Z in a technical production environment?  For a growing metal company with its own engineering office and activities in welding, milling, turning, prototypes, assembly, overhaul & maintenance, sheet metal and finishing, we are looking for a Project Manager. In this role, you are responsible for the follow-up of projects from quotation to completion. You plan and coordinate the work, monitor budget and deadlines, and maintain contact with customers and suppliers. You work closely with work preparation, production and technicians on the floor and know how to motivate your team to guarantee quality and efficiency. A typical day? You start by consulting about the current files, check the progress on the shop floor, interact with customers and update your project administration. Thanks to your technical insight and organizational talent, projects run smoothly. Requirements Technical background (mechanical, metalworking, or electromechanics) or experience in a similar role. Strong organizational and communication skills. You can read plans and understand the translation to production. Customer-oriented, solution-oriented and stress-resistant. Leadership talent: you motivate and manage colleagues in a constructive way. You work in a structured way and have an eye for quality and safety.
