SERVICE TECHNICIAN, Sjöblom Marine Engineering

We are now looking for a motivated LEAD MARINE TECHNICIAN to strengthen our team! Success in this role requires a hands-on approach and the willingness to roll up your sleeves, but also the ability to lead the work and take responsibility for the success of entire projects. We are seeking an individual with strong technical skills and a desire to develop. In the future, you will have the opportunity to grow and advance to a technical manager position within our company. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and repair work on medium- and high-speed marine engines, as well as other ship maintenance and repair tasks. Our plant is located in the idyllic archipelago in Taalintehdas, on Kemiönsaari Island, but most of the work will be done on assignment at customer sites in Finland or abroad. THE JOB INCLUDES Responsibility for the hauling, installation, maintenance, and repair work on medium- and high-speed marine engines Working on diverse international projects, both in Finland and abroad Collaborating closely with ship crews, technical experts, and customers Participating in the planning, execution, and reporting of projects Assignments will be on operational ships, repair yards, or new construction yards, with accommodations arranged as needed.
