Duration: 3 months, starting December 2022 (negotiable) Position type: part-time, four days per week Location: This position is based at the EUPHA office in Utrecht, Netherlands. It is the intern's own responsibility to find accommodation. As, unfortunately, we are not able to arrange accommodation. Internship description The European Public Health Association (EUPHA) is offering an internship opportunity at the EUPHA office. The main task will be to map grant and fund opportunities to strengthening public health professionals in the Eastern part of the European region. If relevant, also providing input to the grant proposal and contributing to the drafting of a response to a fund opportunity. Please note that the internship activities and tasks will be confirmed at the start of the internship. The activities and tasks can be adapted in order to best fit the needs of the intern and the needs of EUPHA. The internship is a chance to be part of the day-to-day work at the office. Candidate profile We are looking for a young professional in public health that is studying or recently graduated and: • Has a background in public health and has some experience with grant/fund searching. • Is interested in European public health. • Works accurately, independently and in an organised manner. And dares to ask questions. • Has a good command of the English language. • Eligible to do an internship in The Netherlands (work/study permit). Reimbursement Financial support for accommodation, in and outbound travel, as well as a monthly allowance of 300 euro per month are provided.
