About the role We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the automation, integration, and optimization of our software development, testing and deployment processes. You would be a first-point contact across the organization in many of the build and tools related questions. Our main task in Devops is to work as a support team for developers and the whole software organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Maven-based build systems, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, and Linux system administration, ensuring reliable and scalable infrastructure to support development and operations. Work tasks - Administer Linux servers (Debian, RHEL, etc.) - Configure and maintain Jenkins and its builds - Develop further automation in our pipelines and other infra, using tools like bash, python and Ansible - Assisting colleagues with technical inquiries We are looking for - Good knowledge of Linux administration, including package management (Debian, RedHat) - Knowledge of Jenkins framework or similar - Ability to script and create automations - Good English language skills It is meritorious if you have - Experience with Ansible automation - Bash and/or Python scripting skills - Experience with Maven in Java projects - Knowledge of version control (Git) - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines - Finnish language skills To succeed in the role, your personal skills are: - Strong prioritisation skills youll often have many tasks open at once - Able to work independently while being a collaborative team player - Good problem-solving skills and willingness to assist colleagues
