We are looking for an experienced QualitySupervisor/ Manager for Johan i Hallen & Bergfalk. Johan i Hallen & Bergfalk (JHB) is a long-standingspecialist that offers a carefully selected selection of meat, fish and seafoodfor restaurants and grocery shops with the expertise of more than 450 employees.JHB cut fish and process meat and seafood every day, according to customers'needs. JHB have own production and have been making sausages and delicacies byhand since 1916. JHB have a long tradition, comprehensive know-how and a widenetwork of successful breeders, producers and suppliers. JHB supplies to morethan 5000 customers in Finland and Sweden. JHB is part of Metro AG (https://www.metroag.de/en).Metro is a leading international wholesaler operating in more than 30 countriesworldwide. As Quality Supervisor/ Manager you will be responsiblefor implementing, maintaining, overseeing and ensuring compliance with foodsafety regulations, industry standards and internal quality and food safetyacross JHB's operations in Finland while supporting/ driving initiatives/ projectsin alignment with quality and corporate strategy. You will report to the QualityOperations Manager, Nordics. You will be part of a quality team of 7 people,stationed around JHB's facilities. We place greatvalue on the ability to collaborate, as this role involves working closely withother departments. Your tasks also include field work and very muchhands on operative tasks such as implementation of QA processes and QAcontrols, among others. The place of work is at our facilities in Kuussillantie and Kivipyykintie. You have a Bachelors/ masters degree in food science or equivalent level in thefood safety related field and a minimum of 5 years experience. As a professional you are proactive, goal-driven, andhighly motivated to complete tasks in a timely, efficient manner. You thrive ina strong team environment, are a self-starter and comfortable speaking up incompany meetings. We are looking for an individual who is positive,interactive, resourceful, and creative in problem solving will be highly valuedin this role. The role requires you to be fluent in spoken and written Finnish and English.It is an advantage if you also speak Swedish.
